Franchise Appoints Head of Network To Spearhead Growth

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate has appointed experienced real estate professional, Rob Trovato, to the role of Head of Network.

With over 26 years of industry experience, having operated as an agent, worked with the big property portals where he was focused on growth, and over two decades as a high-profile auctioneer, being a named as a finalist in REB’s ‘Auctioneer of the Year’ award a staggering 8 times.

Mr Trovato brings a fresh perspective to the role where he is responsible for expanding the brands footprint in Australia, and ensuring franchisees and sales agents continue to receive a high level of service.

“I am really looking forward to leveraging my experience to drive growth for the brand in the strategic regions we want to focus on and working collaboratively to help our offices get most from the services we provide and reach optimal performance,” said Mr Trovato.

Over his career, Mr Trovato has received many accolades including being named in Elite Agent’s coveted ‘Top 50 Industry Influencers’ list. Appointing somebody with strong industry alliances and deep experience in growth was pivotal for the network, said Frank Knez, CEO of Combined Franchise Services which operates the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and Century 21 brand.

“We have strong ambitions to expand our footprint and capitalise on the solid level of interest we’ve had from sales agents and principals enquiring about our boutique brand. Recruiting people like Rob with competency in sales aligns to our immediate strategy” continued Mr Knez.

Mr Trovato’s appointment follows the addition of other key personnel in the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate growth team including Matthew Shepherd, Daniel Visvardis and George Tarbey.

As a licensed real estate agent with over 29 years’ experience, Matthew Shepherd has led a very successful real estate career. Having previously performed in a franchise development role with another group, Mr Shepherd is recognised as one of the most successful real estate franchise recruiters.

Daniel is a real estate professional with over 20 years-experience, including project management and property tech, and  managing large-scale developments across Australasia. Mr Visvardis is passionate and experienced in business growth, as well as managing and motivating teams.

George has a wealth of experience, across multiple industries, that spans over 20 years. Within real estate, Mr Tarbey is an expert in the recruitment of salespeople and offices, and has one of the widest networks of real estate professionals.
