I have known Michael Sloan for nearly 20 years, having first met him not long after he and Laurel started their mortgage broking business. In the time I have known Michael, he has had a hugely positive impact on my finances in many, many ways. He has brokered finance for me, he has helped me cost out viable development projects and, maybe most important of all, kept me out of projects that eventually ended in tears for those that didn’t have the benefit of Michael’s wise counsel.
Beyond his professional advice, Michael was instrumental in introducing me to other professionals who have helped me along the way in my investing journey. Most notable of these was the introduction to Lindsay, Michael’s (and now my) accountant, who has subsequently guided my financial decision making for almost as long as I have known Michael.
I cannot thank Michael enough for his counsel over the years. To this day, if I need an answer to anything real estate, even if it is unrelated to his current role, I call Michael. I trust Michael’s advice implicitly and I cannot endorse his counsel more highly .
