Wednesday, 1st July, 2020 // Property Market News

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate has proudly welcomed James Prendergast to their Queensland network, operating as a mobile agent under the ASPIRE model.

Mr Prendergast has over 23 years of real estate experience across sales, property management, land subdivisions, project marketing and investment property. Servicing the Brisbane metropolitan area and its surrounding suburbs will help to expand the BHGRE footprint in Queensland, adding to the existing presence in Caloundra and Gympie.

“The decision to join Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate as a franchisee was simple, I wanted to align myself with a brand that’s well respected, trusted and reaches most Australians on a weekly basis” said Mr Prendergast.

“BHGRE has the opportunity to reshape the current real estate landscape with a new benchmark in service and I’m very much looking forward to being a part of it” continued Mr Prendergast.

BHGRE CEO Michelle Delaney is excited about the opening of their third Queensland franchise, and having such an experienced agent joining the brand, stating “It is wonderful to have James join us as he brings a level of expertise and standing that will drive the growth of the brand into this key geographical market”.

Mr Prendergast joins the brand under their new independent agent model called ‘ASPIRE’. This offering is targeted to professional real estate agent’s looking to operate remotely and for themselves without a physical shopfront office. The model is ideal for mobile agents as well as those wanting to use it as a stepping stone to owning a shopfront.

“We understand the industry is changing. Whilst the traditional shopfront still provides a long list of benefits, we believe now more than ever that offering the additional mobile agent model will enable more real estate professionals to own their own business whilst expanding our footprint to areas we wish to grow” continued Ms Delaney.

The growth aspirations of the business are supported by the addition of Karen Young as the new Business Growth Manager in Queensland, and a similar hire soon to be announced for their New South Wales team.

Adding to this is the recent launch of a dynamic marketing platform titled ‘Smartbook’ which provides sales agents and property managers the flexibility to create tailored marketing collateral suitable for digital and social distribution.
